This course is designed to provide skills in identifying, understanding, and facilitating prevention and intervention in diverse human problems among students and employee populations.  Such problems include care of elderly family members; single parenthood and childcare issues; substance abuse and dependency; eating disorders; gambling and compulsive shopping; domestic violence; stress; depression and anxiety; workplace violence, and others.
