The Occupational Education Program is housed on the San Marcos campus in the Pedernales Building on Pleasant Street. It is located on the west side of campus. Click here for a map.

Classes are also taught at the following locations around Central Texas. Directions are provided from San Marcos.

St. Philip’s College - Southwest Campus
From San Marcos, take Hwy. 123 to Seguin. Take IH-10/90 west to San Antonio until you reach General Hudnell Rd. Exit at General Hudnell and take the next right turn (Kelly USA-Quintana Road exit). Stay on Quintana Road, which will go over an overpass. Be ready to make first left turn (Harmon Street, which leads into the St. Philip's campus) after going over the overpass.

You can also take IH-35 south from San Marcos to IH-l0/90 west and take the first exit (General Hudnell) and follow the above directions.

St. Philip’s College - Main Campus
Take IH-35 south to San Antonio. Take the Walter's exit and you will see a sign indicating St. Philip's College. Go over the expressway south on Walters, and then take a right on Wyoming Street. Faculty and students should park in Lot 5 or 6.

Alamo University Center - 8300 Pat Booker Road

Take IH-35 South to San Antonio.  Take 1604 Loop  S/Anderson Loop exit, Exit 172, towards TX-218/Randolph AFB/Pat Booker Road.  Take exit toward TX-218/Pat Booker Road/Toepperwein Road, stay straight to go onto N I-35.  Turn left onto Pat Booker Road.  8300 Pat Booker road is on the right.

Round Rock Campus, Avery Building
Take IH-35 north to Round Rock, and take Exit 256 toward University Boulevard (formerly Chandler Road). Turn right onto University Boulevard and go straight for about 1.5 miles. The Avery Building, 1555 University Boulevard will be on the right.

 Lackland Air Force Base
Take IH-35 south to Hwy. 90/IH-10. Go west toward Del Rio, and exit at Loop 410 South, Valley Hi exit (first exit after entering Loop 410). Turn left on Valley Hi to enter Lackland Air Force Base.

You must present three documents upon arrival at the gate: 1) valid driver's license, 2) proof of insurance, and 3) vehicle registration.

Security personnel will issue you an entry pass using these documents. After entering the base, go through the first traffic light and turn right on Barnes Street (first street after the traffic light). Stay on Barnes until you see baseball field on left side of the street (approximately four blocks) and turn right into the big parking lot on the right side of the street. The parking lot is located in front of the Lackland Education Center, Building 5725.
