Syllabus
| This course is designed to assist trade and industrial education teachers and prospective teachers to understand the professional requirements of teaching in a variety of settings to include the classroom, the community and the larger school district environment. Additional professional topics will include the proper organization and management of facilities for effective learning; establishing inventory systems to assure accountability for tools, equipment, materials and supplies; safety plans and procedures to assure safety in a variety of laboratory/shop settings. The professional requirements included will also assist prospective and newly employed teachers in preparing course outlines that embrace reform efforts, industry expectations of a global economy and the information age. |
