Military bases, including Lackland AFB in San Antonio, require all persons receiving a vehicle permit to undergo a background check. All vehicles entering the base are also subject to search. College students as well as their vehicles are subject to search when they enter to take classes. Students should not plan to take courses on any military posts or bases if they are not willing to comply with these security measures.
