The Occupational Education program at Texas State University prepares nontraditional students for careers through high-quality academic, professional and technical programs. Our programs grant credit for experiential learning such as work/life experience; credit for non-collegiate instruction; and credit by exam.
We offer one undergraduate degree — the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences and two graduate degrees — the Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (MSIS) and the Master of Education with a Major in Management of Technical Education (MEd).
